Gym is Open (Wishful Wednesday 7/16)

I have a full day ahead of me.  I need to print out copies of my resume for a healthcare job fair being held not too far from my house.  We'll see if they have anything to offer, although I think this particular job fair is more for nurses and those in allied health (OTs, PTs, etc).

The job fair happens to be in the same neighborhood as the Ballys I usually use, so I'll stop by Ballys afterward and do some exercising.

What will you do to move your body today?

I woke up early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep.... I guess my body is trying to tell me that more than 6 hrs of sleep is enough... any who..... since I was up I went in early and since I had the time I set the elliptical for 45 mins and went for it..... by the time those 45 mins were up I was in a groove, and it felt GOOOD!  I do have to admit I'd changed to the manual program and lowest resistance level by then.... I just couldn't stick with the "gluteal" program that long..... LOL

Nothing for me as its TOM and first day is always awful.  Don't want any embarrassing accidents.

Believe it or not, I wish my TOM would show up.  I'm starting menopause, mini hot flashes and a constant feeling of being on the verge of PMS.  Oy.  Never thought I'd wish for Aunt Flo!

Well, today kind of sucks - no, it really sucks. Although it did start good with my spinning class. But my period is about to start, I feel bloated and gross and work is ******g me off. And it's only 10:30 am!! I hate to think what the rest of the day will be like.

Now if I can just keep out of the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, at least I won't feel like a total failure. (so far, I'm not  resisting - stress is outweighing willpower).

I feel pissy today, too.  I went to the job fair, and it was all nursing gigs.  AARGH.  Not only that, why is it so fscking hot already?  It's not even lunch time yet!

<>I didn't get to Ballys, the parking lot was packed.  The mood I'm in, I should try another location but frankly, I don't wanna!  I want to eat 850 Splenda chocolate ice cream bars and feel sorry for myself (even though I have no reason to feel sorry for myself).   Perimenopause blows.

Have a peanut butter cup for me, and watch out for stray bears!  When did the Springs suddenly become a hotbed for wandering wildlife?  LOL!

Have you ever noticed that a lot of us get in these moods at the same time? Kind of freaky weird! I've eaten a few reeses cups for you, hope you appreciate it

The bear from yesterday? That was right next to my gym! I drove up at my usual 5:30 am time and noticed a bunch of cop cars. Figured it wasn't too important and didn't think anything more about about it until I got done, walked out and saw over 15 cop cars in the parking lot! I walk over to a group of people and they are all looking up at a tree and sure enough, there was the bear. He looked terrified, poor guy. I missed him jumping out of the tree and heading over to Circuit City, but the video cracked me up. The joke this morning was "did you have to dodge any wild life to get in the gym this morning?" haha

DH & I saw the bear on AC360 last night! He was inpressed when I said I knew someon who was in the vicinty!

I've been swimming a lot, and even through the spf 60 sunscreen I am getting a tan.  I would like to swim again today, but I may give my poor skin a break.  I have to figure out how to get color on my legs without getting it anywhere else.  I don't want to be tan, just not ghostly white on my legs. 

We will either swim again, or go to the gym.  If its the gym I will do treadmill and weights.
