Update re: plastics appointment

Thanks, Jan!  I didn't ask the surgeon how much weight he thought I'd lose in terms of the amount of skin to be removed.  I figured it'll be what it's going to be and that's that.  I'd been maintaining around 185, but have been really stressed during the past couple weeks and having trouble making myself eat enough.  I'm now down to 179 and really trying to make myself get my calorie intake back up so I'll stop losing.  I never thought that would be an issue, and I'm sure it'll stop when my stress level comes back down, but right now it's pretty troubling.  Anyway, I know everything will work out fine in the long run.  Who knows - if I can stay at 179 and lose 10-15 pounds of excess skin, I might actually wind up in a "normal" weight range for my height.  That would be pretty amazing -

Kellie~Good Luck!  I think this is really great!  i hope your insurance picks up a large tab:)  You deserve it...you pput in all of the hard work and now this is the time that it will pay off.  Keep us updated on the progress.
