No, I'm not eating any Triskets crackers, but for some reason they sound really tasty right now and I don't know why!  I'm not even hungry.

Sorry for opening the gym late, I was busy online last night doing something and then grew sleepy, so I just went to bed and totally neglected to open the gym.  Oy.

It is going to be HOT today in metro Denver.  I don't know if our pals in the Springs are suffering, too.  The HOT isn't bad, I can deal with it, but the air feels heavy and oppressive even though there is no humidity to speak of.  It makes it hard to even leave the house.

I need to leave the house, though.  I will either walk outside or go do the treadmill.  My knees have been a bit wonky of late so I am opting for walking outside.

What did you do to move your body today?

Yum, I like Triscuits, especially with hot pepper cheese!!!

Sorry weather in Denver is super HOT. Cleveland is, for once, beautiful and temperate. I went running outside last night with my roommate, and may go outside for cardio again tonight (either walking or jogging, depending on how my knees feel by the end of the day). If the knees aren't up to jogging again, I'll go the gym for some low-impact cardio (elliptical, bike, rowing machine).

I am going to the gym in the mid-afternoon to do strength training - not sure whether it's an upper body or lower body day, but will check my log when I get to the gym and do whatever's up next.

Have a fantastic day and stay hydrated in that heat!!!

Oy, I could not remember the correct spelling of Triscuits this morning!  I knew what I typed looked wrong, but I didn't know where to fix it.  Now you've done it, too, I love hot pepper cheese.

I'm on my way out the door at last, wearing my FEAR THE ROO T-shirt.  I didn't know it was Ohio-themed, my sister and I were watching a show on HGTV and she commented on the homeowner's T-shirt.  It read FEAR THE ROO and I liked the fierce look and attitude of roo on the logo, so I ordered one.  Now the University of Akron keeps sending me emails. I haven't the heart to tell them my schools are Cal and Maryland, and I don't even donate to them, so I'm probably not going to donate to the University of Akron. LOL!

How is running working out for you with bad knees and all?

I swam again today, moderate activity, I got my heart rate up a few times.  I am amazed how long I can hold my breath now!

<>I just came home after walking 2.33 miles at Crown Hill Park, one of the many open spaces here in Jefferson County.  I need to walk on paved trails (I don't trust myself on unpaved trails), so I took the intermediate trail today.  It follows the outer borders of the park and has varying inclines.  I enjoyed my walk, although in this heat I was ill prepared and only had two small bottles of water when I needed four!  That last .33 mile, I resembled those people in desert movies who gasp for water and are about to turn into vulture chow.
