Good morning and welcome to another week, my OH peeps.  I'm still filling in for Marge, and hoping that our Georgia peach is back online real soon -

Hi Kellie, sonds like a fun weekend. I'm still in recovery mode but it's getting better everyday. I'm not as tired thankfully. Today I have 2 DR's appointments, one for my 2 year check-up with the WLS surgeon and the other my 2 week follow-up with the GYN. I should find out when I'll be able to go back to work.

Hi, Jan - glad your recovery is progressing nicely.  Glad some of the fluids you've been retaining are finally going away as well.  Let us know how your appointments go!

Hello Girls,

Wow, did I have a busy weekend.  I worked Friday and Saturday night, then went to Cedar Point all day Sunday. My Hubby, sister and her 2 kids went.  I was actually able to get on some of the rides, that before my surgery there would have been nooooo way.  There were lots of stuff I didn't want to even try to get on yet, but by next spring my sister and I are going to go for the coasters!!  I didn't eat very good at cedar point... it was very hard to find stuff I could have, but I also didn't go overboard.  I had 2 mini corn dogs, and 2 french fries.

Here's my numbers for the week:

Surgery wt:  344

Last week:  282.0

This week:  279.2

Down 2.8# this week, down 64.8# over all

Its not been a good week.  I really need to step up my exercise and get better with my protein.  It just scares me cause I only lost 1lb last week and I am out 3months and still have a lot of weight to lose.   So I am crossing my fingers that it steps up again!

last week 379

this week 377.8

total loss for the week 1.2

Sherry -

I found early out that when I wasn't loosing the pounds I was loosing inches. When the weight seemed to stall for me I'd always drop a size or sometimes two!

You're doing great, just keep following your program.

Sherry don't fret.  You are in that dreaded 3month / 4month stall period where  your body says "what did you do to me?" and does a lot of adjusting.  You lost last week and that's great!  Don't worry about it.

Exercise helps all things!

Just make sure you are getting all your fluids in and definitely your protein.

Thank you!  Yeah I do need to get measured again.  I think its just that from all the failures in the past due to losing weight even with this surgery your mind still plays games with you.
