Not sure why this site is giving me grief and not letting me post.  I guess it doesn't like my preferred browser (Netscape 7.1).  Not many sites like Netscape 7.1 any more, so I am going to have to bite the bullet and switch to something else (whines).

The gym is open.  I'm waiting to hear if the contractor is coming today to grout the floor.  If not, I plan to go to the gym.  I haven't exercised at all the past few days and feel logy.

What did you do to move your body today?

Dang that Microsoft!

This morning I did not want to get up.  Struggling with energy issues but once I get up I'm fine!  We'll see what  happens when this brutal semester is over and if it doesn't change, I'll call my doc!

Elliptical 45 minutes on level 5 cascade hill program.   Did 2.5 miles

15 minutes on the recumbant bike on level 10.  Did 4 miles

The calorie counters between the two said I burned 650 calories.  If that's true, then I should be losing 1 pound a week from exercise alone, not to mention the 2000 calorie deficit that has been created in my body from WLS.  Technically speaking, I should be losing 5-6 pounds a week.  But my body is far from technical.

Hope your bathroom issues are resolved soon.  You may have to teach your sis a thing or two about keeping a clean bathroom before this is over!

Good Morning Kix!

I made it to the gym this morning and was ever so glad to get that endorphin rush afterwards.... lol

I did 30 mins on the "gluteal" program on the elliptical.... I'm just hoping my glutes aren't going to be too sore tomorrow....

What elliptical brand do they have there?  I've never seen a gluteal program.  That would be interesting.

have you tried Firefox for you browser? I love it, never use explorer unless I absolutely have to.

Today is my day off - I spend the weekend climbing sand dunes and I'm tired. Did you know it is really hard to walk in sand? I knew I hated biking in sand, but I never really thought about walking in it. Most times I was climbing on all fours - real fun. But all worth it for the view!

Good luck getting in some exercise!

I totally agree about Firefox. I have to use both at work to be sure our sites work in both, but I much prefer the Fox at home. (And I build websites for a living)

I hate waiting for workpeople!!!

MY BIL and family were suppose to arrive today---called at noon and said won 't be here until tomorrow AFTER I RAN AROUND LIKE CRAZY YESTERDAY GETTING READY!!!!

Anyway...

Got DH off his butt and walking this weekend and "lied" to him about how far I walk (he said oh, I'll just walk your route). So I've added an extra 1/2 mile to my morning walk..

Powerwalk 30 minutes

Abs-20 minutes/Pilates-20 minutes
