Yes, after being off from exercising since 6-25 because of carpal tunnel surgery, I got back to the gym today and I really needed it. I was in a funk and suffering from bad attitude, poor eating habits and just general malaise.
I got up at 6:15 and was at the gym by 7:05 and started off with a 30 minute treadmill on a trailblazer program (I like my hills!). Then moved to the recumbant crosstrainer for 10 minutes and finished off with the spin bike for 20 minutes. OMG, it felt so awesome to get back in the gym again!
Hopefully the scale will reward me when I weigh next monday. I lost all the weight that I gained from surgery, but to stall for 2 weeks really sucks even if it was a result of surgery.
Glad to be back in the gym!!!!

I'm walking for 10min each hour at work today - that should make for about an hour of walking. Then I think at the gym tonight I'll do a 10min warm-up on the treadmill before I go back to circuit training. I've been lax about the weight machines.
Spinning class with American Gladiator chick today - she has been working us on hills, which I desperately need. But good grief it's hard - I am soaked from head to toe when I'm done!
Tonight I'm going for a 25 mile bike ride - it's not too difficult of a ride, just a nice, simple ride through Colorado Springs on one of our local trails. So pretty too - you ride through these beautiful forested areas and by a stream. I did this ride Saturday and loved it so I am dragging another friend with me.
What are you doing today my friend??
