I jumped the last hurdle yesterday.  Had my heart cath and it turned out perfect.  No blockage! I was so excited! Now I have nothing holding me back! Thanks for all the encouragement, and kind words...I can't wait to join all you LOOSERS!!!

Now it's time to focus on the surgery and all the preparation for that.  Find a few protein samples (don't buy a bunch because sometimes your taste changes after surgery and you are stuck), get your supplements together, clean your house, prepare your mind, and get ready for the best ride of your life!

Thanks! Yes I have heard that...so I have some protein powder at home....and I am going to get some of the bullets..and just play it by ear the first week.  I can always send hubby out....he will be home with me till Monday. Yes..I am so ready...I want to be comfortable again.  I wanna get rid of diabetes, and high BP! I keep telling myself...get thru the first 3 days..and the rest will be all up to me! Everybody on this message board is so inspirational!

Try the Unjury protein powder samples -- www.unjury.com.  I really like the unflavored and will add it to my oatmeal, a bottle of water with crystal lite, or anything else when I need the protein boost.  I think it is one of the best around.  Also, the EAS powder from Sam's club is pretty good! Best wishes on your surgery, the time will pass quickly, and I've learned that the surgical process and recovery gets easier and easier! God Bless,

Jennie

I wish you the best on the next step of your journey.  The first couple days after surgery can be tough physically, but they pass quickly.  Then comes the emotional part, but that passes pretty quickly too and in no time you'll be well on your way to becoming the new you!  I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
