Not a happy camper!
This morning I went for the second day in a row (they didn't have the code the Dr checked in their system any longer, so had to call the DR) to have my blood drawn for my 2 year post-op check-up.
When the tech was drawing the blood, and stopped at 6 vials, I said that's it, usually it's 11 or 12? She said, nope that's it.
Well, hubby just called there's a message on the machine that they need me to come back they forgot some of the tests! I have to fast again for the 3rd day in a row, but they did say when I got their they would not make me wait at all, we'll see if that happens!
They did the very same thing to me the last time I had my tests done!
UGH! Thanks for letting me complain!
God are you kidding? 11 or 12???!?!?! I'm so glad you told me that, because I would have thought they were going to drain me if some person took that many vials. WOW. My next check up is in two weeks (about 7month post op) and I'm hoping they take blood so I can see how I'm coming along with my protein, vitamins and nip any deficiencies in the bud.

Oh, Jan, what a pain in the arm!!! I applaud you for following through to make sure you get all the tests you need to monitor your absorption levels. Some folks would just throw up their hands and walk away -
I hope all the test results are good, and that this doesn't happen the next time you need blood work done. Morning fasts are a pain, especially when you're an early riser!!!

Update -
I got there at 7AM and they did take me right away, pissed some guys off that were first in line, but, so sorry. They took 8 more vials of blood, told me they had missed an entire panel that the DR ordered. I knew I normally had at least 12 drawn. At my one year they drew 15 vials. Got to love a DR that is through!
Kellie - I can't imagine not getting tests done, and even if I gain I can't imagine not going back for check-ups. I see people say all the time they are afraid to go back to the DR. I think what? My DR works for me, and wants me healthy, just like I want to be healthy. Now at almost 2 years out I'll be doing yearly check-ups and blood tests.
I don't have Kasier Kix, but I know what you mean I grew up on Kaiser and my Mom still has them.
