Gym is Open (Toasty Tuesday 6/24)
Hard to believe it's getting close to July already! Weather-wise, we're certainly feeling it in CO.
High 80s/low 90s most of the week with high 90s by the weekend, ugh.
I plan to spend my day walking outside, with or without the guest dog, I haven't yet decided.
What did you do to move your body today?

It was one of those hit the snooze buttons many times morning this morning for me. I've slipped back into that bad habit after last week...nevertheless, I still got up and went to the gym and that's all that counts.
Today I did a different program on the elliptical. It was a hill program (I like the workout those provide) called interval hill. It had varyingly difficult levels of hills that would last for 4 minutes then recover for 2 minutes, then they got closer like 3 minutes, 2 minutes, then 2 minutes hill and 2 minutes recovery. I did this on a level 8 for 45 minutes and my arms and legs are really pooped today. I've found that upping the level of resistance has helped me with keeping my heart rate at the 80% cardio level. For some reason, I'd rather work harder with the resistance than increase my speed.
Tomorrow's my last day of upper body strength training for 3-4 weeks. My carpal tunnel surgery got moved to this Thursday because of a conflict that I had. It's not a big deal, I'm looking forward to mixing it up a bit.
