Any 80's girls out there?
Can you remember walking around listening to "I wear my sunglasses at night"? We were coming home from Karl's B'day dinner last Friday night from the beach. It was gorgeous out, we rode home with the top down and that song came on the radio. We both grabbed our glasses and I needed some help driving because mine are so dark. Needless to say, I grabbed the camera because we had so much fun that night...
The 80's were awesome!

I love the 80's!!! Okay , now I sound like a show on VH1. I notice from your post you are in Florida. It is so much more fun to be in florida with the top down and glasses on !! there was just something about the sea air that made me want to turn up the music, open the windows and sunroof and cruise. I probably spent a fortune on gas! I cannot wait until I get back to coastal florida(Hello, Air Force powers that be, are you listening?)
Where is MS are you? Most likely not around the Biloxi area. Their beaches are not nice now after Katrina, but they weren't anything spectacular before it either. I'm biased because I grew up in Pensacola, but I do love it.
I just found you on the map. Eww, right in the middle of nowhere.
My husband is a com/nav technician at Duke Field near Eglin. He's in the reserves, but he's active duty right now. Hope you can come to eglin or hurlburt soon!
Hey, my husband was a reservist at Duke Field until 2004, when he went to Charleston AFB. My hubby may know yours, he was at Duke for a lot of years at different times. What is your Dh name? Mine is Robert DiFilippo. DH was also AD at Tyndall AFB, FL which is where we hope to get back to after retirement which is not until 7 yrs from now. We have kept the house we bought whne hewas first stationed there at Tyndall in 1996 rented out just waiting. I used to come to Eglin to shop at the BX and go to Destin to Silver Sands outlet. I have never been to Pensacola. I would like to take my son to the air museum, he is just at the age that he so into war stuff. My Husband is now Active Duty at Columbus AFB, MS. We keep hoping he can get back down to the area. I agree Biloxi was nothing compared to the Florida area of the gulf coast. Haven't been down to Biloxi in a long time, DH was there until 1 week before the storm TDY and then he was deployed with the 920th rescue wing for after katrina relief. we were just saying that we would like to go to Biloxi to see what it looks like now, I would like to go to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino that opened a few months ago. It is about 4 hours away. I will have my surgery July 9 so we may have to wait until after that to go. Before we came to Columbus AFB for AD assignment DH, he was at Patrick AFB as a AF ART. Even though I liked Patrick AFB area and even Charleston AFB area there is still nothing like the white sands of the gulf, the water is so much more gentler. I think I was born in the wrong state, I think I have sal****er running through my veins!! My son was born in Panama City.
Well it was great to hear from you!!!!
