Hi, Linda, and welcome to our little corner of the internet!  You're more than welcome to jump right on in - we're a pretty friendly, supportive group here.  No flaming, but we'll often tell it like it is...   Keep up the good work on losing some weight before surgery.  That'll make it easier for your surgeon to do his job, plus you'll be that much further along on your journey!   Keep us posted on your progress!!! Hey, life happens - I'm almost never online on the weekends - too many other things going on.  And adding two more kids to your already busy schedule?  No wonder we haven't heard much from you!   Enjoy your visit with Jeanine, Michelle and Lisa on Thursday - sounds like fun!!!   We look forward to hearing from you more regularly when (if?) things quiet down a bit.  Until then, have a great summer!!!! Yes we do miss our Georgia peach....but we appreciate you taking over!  THANKS!  I had a decent week.  I actually was quite active, went to Curves X3, sanded and stained 2/3 of my 16x20 ft deck. I would have finished it were it not for the darn rain!  Oh well....tomorrow if weather permits.  I have been so bad about adding my 7 month pix to my profile.  Would you believe I still hate the camera sessions! Anywho....here's my numbers:  HUGS to all! Beginning Weight:  284 lbs Surgery Weight: 252 lbs Last Week:  173 This Week:  170

Had a full weekend.  We went to see the Broadway version of "Sweeney Todd" at the Buell on Saturday.  It was a very strange staging and I found it a bit jarring, of course the music was wonderful.  The actors who played Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett were outstanding and had great chemistry.  Afterwards, we went out for salmon fish and chips, which didn't quite fulfill their promise.  On Sunday, we went over to the Mayan to see the movie "Mongol" about Genghis Khan.  It was better than I expected, although it did remind me of those Japanese taigo dramas I used to watch on Japanese TV in San Francisco (taigo dramas are year-long historical fiction TV series).   The scale gods have been most annoying of late.  I'm sure I have not been diligent about some aspect of post-WLS life (not enough water, exercise, or protein).  Beginning weight: 530 lb Surgery weight: 407 lb Last week: 224 lb This week: 225 lb  Kix
