Happy Weekend!!!

I made it through four whole days at work and today I am off to Missouri to attend my nephews wedding.  I'd say I am well past on the mend and standing at the door of full recovery.  I guess even though with the marvels of modern medicine there is something to be said for six weeks of recovery from any major medical ordeal because it will be six weeks since surgery next Tuesday.   Today and Sunday, I face a fear.....Flying.  Well actually, it is the taking off and landing that drive me nuts.  I kind of like being in the clouds.  Since I won't be around to check in on you guys, know that if you have good news - I wish you well.  Know that if you are having some struggles - you will be in my prayers when I read your post.   HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!!!

I know what you went through took you down and it was scary, but it was a temporary setback and it sounds like you are doing swimmingly well.   Is the area you are going to in MO affected by the flood.  It's so sad and the country just doesn't seem to rally around disasters unless it's like a hurricane or earthquake! Flying is not one of my favorite things either for the same reasons! You have a great weekend too!

I am told the floods are about 2 hours away.  We fly into Kasas City, MO and then travel about an hour south to a military base in the middle of no where!!  My nephew is a military BRAT that forgot to come home with his family when my brother retired.  Might have something to do with the cute blonde that agreed to be his wife!  hehehehe

I'm so glad you are finally sailing along. I know you have been through so much, which much make it that much sweeter. Six weeks from major surgery sure sounds right. And we all try to push ourselves too hard. When I was talking with my shrink about all the projects I had planned to do during my leave following surgery, she reminded me that my job was to be recovering, not doing projects. Doh.
