Free Nectar protein samples XPOST

X post from RNY board  free nectar protein samples  Call 866-333-7403, push one for Customer Service and tell the rep you want to get the Nectar protein samples.  I'm getting the following...free!   2 Strawberry Kiwi, 2 Cookies and Cream, and 2 Chocolate Truffle.  The company is Syntrax.com It's always good to get free protein samples.  All you pre-surgery people, hop right on this one!

My surgeon's office provides free samples of Syntrax.  I can sometimes tolerate the Chocolate Truffle, but the strawberry kiwi and the cookies and cream are flavors of my past.  Now, I mix the fuzzy navel with the crystal light sunrise and that works for a few days, but then I have to leave that one aside too.  I sure wish I didn't struggle so badly with the protein shakes!!!

I couldn't stand any of the "real" protein drinks, so don't feel bad.  I got by on the No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast made w/ skim milk (chocolate flavor only for me!).  I also added non-fat powdered milk to the mixture for additional protein.  Not the world's greatest source of protein, but it got me through the liquid post-op phase, and I'm not the worse for the wear...  

I think the protein gets to us all.  I'm pretty happy with my chocolate Unjury, but I don't drink it every day any more.  Actually, my stomach lurches when I think about shakes every day.  They go down easier when made into a smoothie for sure though.

I tried a sample of nectar, liked it, bought a whole tub, can't drink it at all.  I can't do most protein drinks, but if I don't drink them often the myoplex shakes go down ok.
