I cried in the dressing room today

I was so embarrassed today, have to find more bottoms AGAIN.  I went to Avenue and tried on about 14 pairs of shorts and capris in various sizes - I bought a pair of 22s!  22s!  Only the 22s fit, 24 too bug, 20 way too small.  22s!  The lady looked at me strange, taking multiple sizes of each thing into the dressing room.  Then I got emotional, I am wearing 22 pants!  We're in junior high territory here.  I started crying - what a fool I am :) Then I came home and tried on a pair of Estelle's jeans that I couldn't even pull all the way up a month ago, and they fit!!  Estelle I am wearing your sparkly jeans right now, and they look good! LOL Even better, despite my very big temptation because of a sale and a coupon, I only purchased absolute necessities - a few pairs of clearance underwear, and a pair of shorts.  I am doing my best to keep the wardrobe to a minimum until I am not changing sizes so fast.  Its tough because everything looks so much better on me now, I want more more more!

What a beautiful reason to cry!  You are truly an inspiration for me.  I look at where you are only a few short months after surgery and it helps me to realize that I too can be there too!  Thank you for continuing to share your WL experiences.  They are invaluable to me.   I am having a major clothing issue.  I didn't realize how big my work clothes is on me until I returned to work today and my clothes is catching wind as I walk down the hall.  Crazy thing though - I feel like I am still in the same size, but this clothes must be stretched out.  I know there is probably some reality to that thought process, but at the same time I also know that is my head not allowing itself to grasp the weight loss.

No reason to be embarrassed, you've done great and should be very proud of yourself! I've had my "melt down so happy that I have to cry" moments in the store but it's such a good feeling compared to the days when I'd cry because they didn't have anything big enough to fit me. I went shopping with hubby this weekend and was so glad he came along. He picked a couple blouses that I would have walked past, but once I tried them on they were so darn cute. It's fun to shop now and not have to ask him to get me a bigger size!

I've got some 22's that are too big now if you'd like for me to send them to you.  Now I'm 5'7" and you'd have to hem them, but it's better than spending big bucks to replace every few months. Let me know if you are interested and I'll take pics and e-mail them to you so you can look at them.
