Good Morning Kix! I always love running into people I haven't seen in years.... I bet you have a blast! I did 30 mins on the elliptical this morning and wasn't ready to quit yet so I did the 5 min cool down and then the machine quit on me...... LOL  Okay, so I stepped on the plug getting off and it may have been a lack of electricity that made it quit.... LOL

Have a fun trip to Fort Collins!  I used to hang out there on the weekends when I lived in the Denver area in the early 90s.  A friend of mine from high school was going to CSU, so I'd drive up after work Friday, and we'd hang out for the weekend and party with his college buddies.  We had a lot of fun - it was a very carefree time in my life and I really enjoyed it!   I remember a sandwich shop called Obydaas - they made yummy sandwiches.  Wonder if they are still in business?  There was also a great sandwich shop very close to campus that baked their own bread, and they had a sandwich on the menu called a Curious George!  I loved the name and the sandwich (multigrain bread w/ natural peanut butter, ripe banana, and a little honey, spread with just a little butter and grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich.  Can't recall the name of this place, but still remember the Curious George and will occasionally make my own version at home.   In terms of exercise, I'm doing another 2-a-day.  Upper body strength training and core work at lunch, then 50-60 minutes of cardio after work.  Same old, same old, which is okay by me!!! Enjoy your trip to Fort Collins and let us know if your friends recognize you!!! Kellie

How fun! I love Fort Collins, such a cute town. Enjoy your time with your friends! I'm off today (yeah!) and so I'm going to head outside to ride my bike. I'm doing a 30 mile loop near the Air Force Academy - a really pretty trail and not too difficult or hilly but still fun. It's the perfect day to be outside!

Kix, sounds like a good day for you.  I've only been to Colorado two times, and both times we stayed in downtown Denver but it was a quick whirlwind both times.  I'd love to go for a real visit and not on business. I did 35 minutes on the Mount KILL-A-MANjaro  (notice the words imbedded in there) at level 5 again today.  I was dripping wet when I finished.  Then moved over to do 10 minutes on the recumbant cross trainer on level 10.  I think I'm going to move away from that for a few weeks because it's gotten too easy too quick.   I did really well keeping my heart rate up today so I'm happy about that. Hope everyone stays cool today.  The temp is slipping up the scale higher and higher.

Hey Kix, So, I cannot do much, but it is moving my body! So far today, I've walked back in forth in the livingroom about 8 times, and went potty. That's about it. I also sat closer to straight up when I sat down at the diningroom table to type this. I'm trying to be less huntched over. Hopefully, I will be back to more regular exercise by mid July. Let us know if your friends recognize you. You've done so amazingly well Kix - I'm sure they will be proud of you!

Hope you had fun with your friends today.  As far as exercise, I did go to the gym - I did 40 minutes on the treadmill ranging from 3.0 to 3.5mph.  I did jog briefly but I need to work on my balance more because I didn't feel steady on the treadmill.  I also jogged briefly when we got back, just to see what it felt like on the ground - it seemed easier.
