It's my turn!

Okay...it's my turn. I have a surgery date.  Monday, June 30th!  Woo Hoo.   After much anticipation, I thought for sure when the doctor's office called me yesterday it was because I was missing some sort of paperwork or test that the insurance company needed. I called them back this morning and they were calling to give me a date. The insurance company has already approved the surgery. I am so excited, I don't know how I'm going to keep my mind on work today. But I must, because I have two weeks to get everything done before the surgery. Its very unreal. Make room for me on the loser's bench!!!!!!! Denise

Thank you Jandell, Your new surgery date is July 1st, right?  Good luck to you as well. Hopefully you will be more comfortable and pain-free very soon. The fourth of July isn't going to be great for either of us. But we both have so much to look forward to. Denise

Very true Denise, I'll be missing the big 4th of July party we usually go to.  Laugh with me about this though - at least I'll be able to eat ;) I'll be feeling sorry for you! Two years ago before my WLS I had to start my liquid diet on July 3rd, so the 4th was miserable watching everyone around me eat yummy BBQ.

Congratulations on your scheduled date. You may not be able to enjoy the food this year, but you can still enjoy the company and the fireworks. And what an Independence Day! You are declaring independence from morbid obesity.

  CONTRATULATIONS!!!    i am 4 and a half months out and you will not believe how good life can be!!!  I am sooooooo happy for you!!!  So many good things are in store for you!!!
