Well I know I shouldn't complain it's going down I started at 405lbs last November, 385lbs in January and 354lbs May now 348. I just figured walking in snow rain falling on my behind was worth at least ten! Anyway I'm still all smiles! I want bmi of 50 or less before surgery.. Getting there!
That's fabulous! Every bit you lose before surgery makes it easier for your surgeon to do your surgery laproscopically, which generally has an easier recovery than if you have to a full open RNY. Plus, it helps lower your risk during surgery because your heart and lungs don't have to work so hard.
Kudos to you on the 50 pounds pre-surgery loss; that's really quite an accomplishment and I commend you for your hard work!!! Keep it up, and keep us posted on your progress -
