Good Morning Kix!  I thought for a few minutes this morning that I wasn't going to get my workout in.  When I got to the office our power was out and the emergency generator doesn't run much stuff other than a single light here and there.... I was pacing circles through the lobby getting all worked up over it when the lights came back on!  So I finished up in the gym on the elliptical for 30 mins.... whew...... Have a great day!

Today's a 2-a-day for me, Kix.  Upper body strength training and core work at lunch, then 50-60 minutes of cardio after work.  I'm working hard to get back down to my lowest weight -- 183 -- and perhaps even a little lower (aiming for 175-180).  These days, that means 2-a-days at least 4 days a week, plus keep my daily calories between 2000-2200.  But it's working, so I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing!   What are you doing today???   Kellie

Good on you for working so hard to get back to 180!  My lowest has been 212, and short of staving, I'm not sure how I'll get there.  Actually, that's silly, I know how to get there.  The trick is to get the brain to accept what it takes to get there.  I need your dedication! Kix

I'm mixing up the cardio a bit for a few weeks.  I did the recumbant cross trainer for 20 minutes @ level 10 with 2300 steps.  I increased that from 2000 steps last week.  I checked my heart rate at about 12 minutes in and it was at about 115 which is low on my scale but I was trying to give my legs a good workout.  I haven't done lower body in about 3 weeks and am getting back to that tomorrow so I'll probably be sore by the end of the week.   But I dropped down to a size 20 out of a 22.  I've been there forever (since like february) so it feels good to make that happen.  If it werent for these thighs ...ugh...yuck...yucky!

I had big plans for the gym tonight but with this migraine I highly doubt it.  I was going to try to walk 3 3 miles, and possibly jog a little if the place was empty LOL.

3 miles!  Jogging!  I remember when you didn't feel secure enough on your feet to walk much, let alone jog.  That's quite a milestone!

Well I haven't TRIED it yet - it might not work.  Walking three miles, yeah I can handle that pretty easily now.  Jogging - we'll see.  I had the strangest urge to run the other day, so I thought I might see how it goes.  I might chicken out though - I can't help but think of all the skin slapping together.
