I am going to get back to the gym starting Monday but the weekend is dedicated to travel recovery. For some reason I've had diarrhea since yesterday morning - everything is going right through basically undigested along with a ton of water. I hope its just a bug and I'm trying to drink as much as I can. Tomorrow night we have our Eddie Izzard concert so we have a little drive ahead of us (Austin). I don't want to be stopping repeatedly on the way and missing parts of the show because I have to use the bathroom, ugh.
Today is still chilly in the rainy NW, so I'm weeding, messing in the yard and doing laundry. The yard stuff takes much more walking than I usually do, although UI do sit on the ground to weed. Plus once I plant my butt, I get a lot of stretching, as I reach as far as I can before having to move the mountain again. I'm going to Home Depot later (riding the cart - let's not over-do it). Then I will have stuff to plant tomorrow when it is supposed to be sunny. Oh, and back to the pool tomorrow.
Let's see it I really DO all that.
No formal gym time for me over the weekend, but lots of exercise nonetheless.
I was up and at Home Depot by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday; bought another fourteen 40-pound bags of topsoil, which I took home and finished filling in my front yard. (Wound up taking 46 bags total = 1840 pounds!!!!) Then I spread four 15-bags of Scott's Patchmaster and watered, watered, watered. When I was done with that, I went and helped a friend move. She'd had her furniture moved by a moving company last Wednesday, but still had odds and ends that needed to be packed and moved. So lots of lifting, carrying, and up-and-down the stairs. Was done with that around 6:00 p.m., and headed home for my recliner!!!
Sunday, just did stuff around the house. We grilled for the first time, so there were lots of trips in and out of the house, lots of moving stuff around to get out the grill, etc. But other than sitting down to enjoy the Sunday morning paper and coffee, I don't think I sat back down until we had the grill going!
It feels great to be able to go, go, go, and not feel like I've been run over by a Mack truck. Who knew such things were possible????
