Blood clots?

I just found out that  I have to do the Lovenox for 30 days twice per day!  Ick!  I don't have any history of clots - but the way I look at it, I can do this surgery and take the Lovenox for 30 days or not do this surgery and get diabetes soon and take daily shots!
