Today's a 2-a-day for me - upper body strength training and core work at lunch, then 45-60 minutes of cardio after work (length of cardio session will depend on how my sore legs are feeling).  Like you, if I don't exercise A LOT, I don't lose an ounce, even when I'm eating right.  Oh well, such is life, eh?   Kellie

Frankly, I think it sucks!  I had a roommate in college who would faint because her metabolism was so high she'd burn calories like jet fuel and would often forget to eat because she was busy.  GRR!

10 minutes on elliptical...at level 10.  Stupid machine wouldn't work at first, then second try, then 3rd try until I moved machines.  Then I remembered I had to remind my son about his dr appt and he wouldn't answer his phone.  By the time I got done trying to reach him or my husband, my cardio time was gone.  So I did a upper body workout for 30 minutes. But hey, isn't 10 minutes on level 10 like 20 minutes on level 5 or 30 minutes with no level?  I'm trying to rationalize this...help me out!

Last weekend I mapped out a 3.2 mile walk and i'm going to try and do that walk when ever I don't make it to the gym which has been everyday! :(  Today I don't feel so good so i'm going to try and talk DH into going with me...

To heck with my knee.  I got onto the recumbant bike and did 3 miles in 15 minutes.  I LOVE the bike.  I kept a pretty good speed (for me) considering how long it had been.  Unfortunately, I am now beginning asthma season and it forced me to stop at 15.  It had been pretty good this spring.  People at work began complaining a few weeks ago and I was fine.  But the last 2 days...  Living in southeastern Wisconsin we have almost as many days with air quality issues as not, once it warms up. -Dawn
