Saturday!

I was planning on having plastic surgery at the end of June, but got a call last Friday telling me that my date wasn't available, and could I be ready for surgery on June 7th?!  I had to think about it, and check with my family to see if we could pull together the help I will need, and we all agreed that we could do this.  SO this Saturday, I will  have a lower body lift (belt lipectomy) and breast lift at Kaiser West LA.  I'm pretty excited, and a bit apprehensive at the same time.  I know that the recovery will  be much harder than the hysterectomy I just had, but it will be so worth it!  I am wondering what I will look like afterward - I've never had a flat tummy or perky backside, and I have the wonderful elasti-boob right now.   Yay for surprise phone calls!

What a surprise!  Glad you were able to handle the change in dates, and that all the support is falling into place (or being shoved into place!).  I'm sure you'll enjoy your new flat tummy and perky backside Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy recovery!!! It sounds like you have a fantastic support system!  That's great!  I wish you the best not only this Saturday but for the rest of your recovery.  I hope that everything goes well for you.  When you're in pain and feeling miserable just imagine how you're going to look once all the swelling, redness, etc. goes down.  Flat tummy, perky butt, nice boobs....all dreams come true.

Wow, you almost can't even prepare mentally for it!  I know you will do well through the surgery and you will be in my prayers this weekend.
