Talking Heads song, good song.  Talking Heads = awesome.  Well we made it to Boston on one piece, even if our cabbie was determined to kill us.  Seriously, we thought we might die.  I could not live and drive here.  I did fit in the plane seat ok but I still had to use an extender.  Barely, but I was a little bummed about that.  We were exhausted when we got here, since we skipped sleep Sat night, so after we checked in we went to the food court in the mall next door to the hotel.  I ate some chicken and cheese and bacon from a salad.  Then I tried to go to the bathroom - and 45 minutes later eventually was finished.  Can you say constipation?  We went to sleep and just woke up, now I am trying to drink a lot of water.  I am dehydrated, and had a charlie horse in my sleep.  Traveling post-op is more of a challenge than I expected.  I need to catch up on a few more vitamins.  I am not sure if we will do anything else tonight, I doubt it.  There is no wind in my sails.  So that's the update.  Have a good week everyone!

Glad to hear that you made it safely.  Sorry to hear about the extender belt. :(  You should be very close to not needing it.  Get the fluids in - all that travel dehydrates  you easily.  You should be starting to get back to normal tomorrow.  Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Glad to hear you made it!  The planes make you dehydrated, so it is probably right that it will take you a day to catch up.  Sorry to hear about the seat belt extender but hey there was a time when the plane seat was too small(that is where I am right now.).  Look at how far you have come and rejoice! I can so relate to the driving in Boston.  You couldn't pay me enough to drive in Boston.  We lived in New Hampshire (on the border) for 5 years and there was a reason they called them M********   Hope you are getting some good rest and fill up the mainsail.

Ooooh, my sisters live just south of Boston & I used to travel there every spring with my mom when I was a kid!! LOVE IT!! I know what you mean about the driving... my sisters (transplanted upstate ny'ers) have a clever name for them (won't repeat it cus I don't want to offend anyone) but they may have to realize now they've lived there long enough I think their driving skills qualify them for the title too!!!  Make sure you get to Quincy Market (like I have to tell you that) and if at all possible do the Freedom Trail!! I have always wanted to walk it... maybe this fall!!!  Enjoy the rest of your trip & have water with you wherever you go!!! Cece
