Well I would like to give everyone a hello and thanks to Kathy S. for sending me an e mail about this group. I have looked around OH but never found this group. I am 5 weeks post op. Started at 459pounds prior to surg. I have a feeling this is the place I should be at right now. If you want to get to know me a bit I have been blog in my profile since day one. I look forward to talking to some of you as well as commiserating with you. Hay, got a question.  I am looking for a new name for my stomach since it has a mind of it's own now. Any suggestions? ;o) Kathleen

Welcome!  When everyone wakes up you'll get to meet them.  Some are early risers and others sleep late.  You'll love coming here and you'll get somewhat addicted to seeing everyone's progress.  It keeps me going and there are so many new post-ops but theres a good balance of 6-9 months and several 2+ years out. I just call mine stupid pouch.  Because it's stupid and sometimes I can't figure it out.  There are some wild names on this board for their pouches and even names for their thighs. Come on in and stay a while!

Welcome Kathleen.. You're going to like it here... I've got one.. How about 'pouty pouch' when it's bad and 'poochy pouch' when it's good.. LOL

Welcome - I am newbie to post-op world and since I am still on liquids so I haven't really had pouch issues - yet!  If I come up with something clever for it, I will share!

Welcome Kathleen!  The people on this board have been very supportive and it's a great place to be.  I look forward to catching up on your blog.  I am too hungry and sleep deprived to think of a creative name for your stomach...stupid liquid diet.  I look forward to hearing others' ideas though!

WOWWWWOOO a nice welcome THANK YOU everyone!!!! I have posted a few times elsewhere on OH but very little responses. I am having a feeling I am going to enjoy this group!!! As for the name for my "pouch" I am thinking some kind of German word. Since I do not understand a word of German I am figuring it will be appropriate because my stomach is a forging thin to me anymore and forever more I am assuming at this point. Suggestions are still most welcome. I look forward to talking and commiserating with everyone. Kathleen
