Gym is Open (May 26-30)

After a couple of days where my weight shot up to 230 lbs (eek!), I'm happy to report that I'm down a lb from last week's weigh in (224 today).  We'll see if I can continue to lose while I'm away.

Speaking of away, I'm leaving in the morning for my Black Hills adventure, woohoo!  The gym is open, feel free to post all the fun, active things you do while I'm gone this week. 

I'll be back to check up on everyone's activity next Monday!  Everyone have fun, and try to miss me at least a little bit.

Last week: 225 at Monday weigh-in, but shot up to 230 lbs during the week, yikes!

Well today me and my fiance went to a small island in the Gothenburg archipelago named Vrångö. It's a beautiful little island, and there is trails going around the whole island. We went for a walk that was 2 miles long. We just met one man, else we were all alone. Just enjoying the sunshine and the nature. We saw some amazing views of the ocean. We had a short stop and drank and ate. My fiance ate some sandwiches but I am on my pre-op-diet so I just drank my VLCD-shake and some mineralwater.

The only way to get there is by boat. The walk and stop took us 1½ hours, which meant that we came just in time to get the small ferry back to Gothenburg. I am so proud of myself for manage to walk 2 miles, especially since I weigh more then 400lbs.

I haven't been for a long walk in more then a year, because I got pnuemonia really bad and after that I was tired for months. But now I am back... and I long for our walk tomorrow...

Ok, where's everyone at?  The usual posters must be on vacation too.  I'm going to continue the daily posting while Kix is gone to keep us motivated. Yesterday, we went to the beach and I walked down the beach in my BATHINGSUIT!  That's an accomplishment for me. I didn't put my shorts on, I just walked.  I held my stomach in all the way though and we walked in the sand through the surf so I got a good lower body workout.  The waves were pretty rough too.  We walked 1.5 miles but it felt like a heck of a lot longer than that I was breating pretty quick too. This morning, I took my burned little shoulders to the gym and did only 15 minutes on elliptical but it was Mount Kilamanjaro again and at level 5 this time.  Then I did 30 minutes of upper body strength training.  One of the trainers gave me a note that said she could really see the changes in my body.  I'm going to hang it on my mirror!  I love those little surprises! OK Regulars... Where are you?
