I'm late posting this but I don't figure its going to get much traffic anyway.
I ate (or didn't eat) terribly yesterday. I wasn't even close on the protein. I had a latte, an egg, and two pieces of bacon. That's it. Shame on me. I also missed my iron and didn't get enough water in - and threw away my lunch. Do not ever follow my example.
Today hasn't been much better - I am working on some milk and coffee. I had a fiber one bar for breakfast, a few bites of Thai for lunch (basically all veggies) and 3 prunes. I simply have no appetite, but I will definitely supplement protein today because if I let it slide 2 days in a row I will be a bad bad bad bad bad bad bad girl.
Dinner - not sure, maybe chili, it sounds sort of good. Honestly, its like right after surgery - the only things that taste truly good are fruits and veggies. I may have to go back to living on avocado, peanut butter, and milk for a few days.
What about you? What are you eating today?

It took all day but I got a protein shake down today. 23 grams of protein! I know it is no where near where it needs to be, but it is a start. I also have about two tablespoons of greek yogurt. Solids just feel soooo weird in my pouch. It does take some getting used to. And of course - water, water, water!
yesterday...
b- protein bar
l-mcdonalds classic grill sandwich 3/4 of it minus the top bun
s-cheeseburger minus top bun
d-grilled amberjack and 1 cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeno (thanks for the idea)
I did assisted pullups yesterday and was very weak afterwards. Too much effort exerted. The cheeseburger was, to put it lightly, gross, but I ate it anyway because I wanted protein.
today
b-meal replacement protein bar 3/4
l- roasted pork & 1 left over grilled shirmp
d-some kind of bbq
EAT SOME PROTEIN BEFORE YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ENERGY! Ok, I'm done getting on to you...

Mootopia is a milk put out by a Texas grocery store chain - it has almost double the protein of regular milk, is lactose free, and has 40% more calcium. Unfortunately its not nationwide.
Greek yogurt is available nationwide - its a thicker creamier yogurt that is higher in protein than regular yogurt. Its definitely popular among RNY patients, and it has a good amount of protein in it definitely. A lot of people like it with fruit and some sugar free syrup or preserves. I actually prefer to use it in a savory manner - in place of sour cream, or in tzatziki sauce for grilled chicken (cucumber, oregano, salt, pepper, lemon juice)
Good luck!
