Back from annual exam

Its over, woohoo!  I had my pelvic and talked to him again about low libido.  My hormone levels are pretty normal from my last round of blood work, so we are trying different birth control - femcon, a chewable pill.  He also checked out the lump below my breast, and wasn't very concerned about it - he thinks its an embedded cyst, or something like that.  Since its right where my underwire goes, we both think it would be better to remove it, and he referred me to a general surgeon.  I will talk to the surgeon, but if this is a full anesthesia situation for a marble sized thing right under the skin, I'd rather wait.  I'm guessing it would be local and maybe some happy drugs, which I am willing to do, but full anesthesia right now?  No way.  The gown did not fit, but I had a nice paper drape and the whole thing was pretty quick, thank goodness.  No small talk this time :)

Well, I am glad it is over for you!  It sounds like it is good news, but I would have it removed too.  I would think that it could be removed without general anesthesia, but I could be wrong.  I think it just depends on the size of it.  Hope you had a good rest of the day and keep us informed as to what the general sugeon says. Happy to read it is over - I did think of you this afternoon and great that things went well.  I am going to say a little prayer that your new BC works for you.  You and your husband deserve to celebrate the new you in all ways!!!
