Ugh, I have a bad day ahead of me - pap smear and all the fun of talking to a doc who looks like he's 12 about a lumpy boob and no sex drive.  Then I have a mandatory money management class in the evening from the head of the biology department.  He is a bombastic jerk, it'll be fun.  He has no business butting into my finances.  He calls these mandatory meetings about twice a month and we have to listen to his BS about whatever he feels like spouting on about.  Usually he doesn't even have anything planned.  I can't stand this man.  I've never seen anyone so fond of their own voice.  Then they try to pacify us with free pizza.  Yay more pizza.  I hate pizza so much after 4 years of it... If I never see pizza hut or papa john's after I graduate, it will be too soon.  Food, I dunno.  I don't really care actually.  Whatever.  We will go to the grocery store I'm sure, and probably have something out too, and I'll try to make good decisions but I can't guarantee it. What about you?  What are you eating today?

I'll probably stick to my gov't issued breakfast of late:  yogurt with a piece of RF cheese and a 1/3 of a banana.  Eggs still don't appeal to me (had them almost every day before surgery) and adding the hi protein ka****o my yogurt was making me ravenous by about 8:30 (not a good thing).   Have 3 month f/u after lunch so I'll probably avoid dense protein at lunch.  I have some leftover TVP & bean chili (that I actually made!) that I'll probably throw some cheese in and a small dollop of Fage. Dinner is going to be Mojo Chicken on the grill from Dinner by Design. Can't believe how quickly this week has flown... -Dawn

Being bad today! I've been on call for jury duty all week, haven't been called, but decided to stay home today anyway. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is going on at work and it's boring me to death. Hubby went to work and I started laundry, he's going to try to come home if he's not busy and we might go see the new Raiders movie. I have NO food plan for the day, how weird is that? I'm waiting to see if hubby comes home and then I'll go from there.

Don't you just love professors who take lecture time to talk about stuff that is totally irrelevant to the  material that they are supposed to be covering?  I've been in the excellerated track where my classes are 8 weeks long instead of 16 weeks and that class time is important.  What you are talking about is different, but still, it's your time and your personal business!   I hope everything goes well with your gyn appointment and you get your libido and lump squared away today.  I have a great female ob/gyn and she's awesome.  I found her after an 8 year hiatus after a male doc told me I was too fat and to lose weight to solve all of my problems.  Hmmm,  almost 100 pounds gone and still have problems! I'm going to be cheering for you today to make good eating choices for your pouch!

We have a great community thing here tonight called evenings in old seville.  A beautiful park in historic downtown.  They have free concerts and we just discovered them last year.  Now every Thursday night from May - Aug, we go down for the concerts.  So I made a beautiful chicken salad last night.  Packed some carrots, grapes and mozzarella & cucumbers to eat as well as a bottle of wine!

I worked my azz off yesterday and gained 1 lb!    I'm vacillating between being very annoyed and being more strict with myself.  Perhaps being more strict would help! I have an oral exam at 1 PM for a state WIC gig.  I made it through the written exam screening, and if I get through the oral exam, I'll be invited for an interview.  I'm only slightly nervous. Here's what I ate so far today: B: 1 Instone protein pudding and 2 EAS protein drinks @ 320 calories, 54g protein I think we are going to a local fast food place tonight that makes killer cheeseburgers and homemade fries, so I will most likely forego lunch.  If I'm in the mood after my oral exam, I will go to the gym and do treadmill today. I'll add more later. Kix Here's what I ended up eating the rest of the day: L: 2 EAS protein drinks in the car en route to my oral exam 220 calories, 34g protein D: nasty mushroom cheeseburger that must have been cooked yesterday, ugh.  It made me sick, so I'm not sure how to count the calories because I'm not sure how much of it I yakked up. What a weird day - my appt was changed to tomorrow *grrr* and I went up to school for the stupid finance meeting only to find out its moved to next Thurs.  Here is food so far B - 4oz mootopia in my coffee, benefiber L - less than 1/3 of a chipotle bol (chicken, black beans, lot of veggies, rice, cheese) S - 4 pieces of dove chocolate over the course of about 4 hours D - more chipotle bol

1 envelope of unjury mixed with one scoop of whey gourmet and 2 tsps of uns cocoa powder + 4 oz of skim milk for a rockin' 45 gms of protein and 220 calories!!

 

lunch 2 oz chicken, asparagus, 1\4 cup of home made guac., + 8 guiltfree gourmet corn chips 

 

1\4 cup leftover tuna salad + 1 cup cucumber slices

1 digestive biscuit 

starting BMI 60.8+

lost 126 lbs since November 10th and still dropping...Surgery Dec. 10th

BMI currently 42.2

hmmmmmm  I hope all is going ok......I hate pap days and now that i'm 35 my dr tells me its more important than ever to do it...I really need to find an Gyno I usualy have my pcp do my paps but I gotta tell ya .....she is always so good to me and we talk so openly that i almost consider her my friend so much so that I'm kind of uncomfortable having her do it...Silly huh?    ok so,  b= coffe skim milk   1 egg L=geef barly soup....34,000 crackers  D=inside of roast beef sub 6 inch
