People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
My lowest weight since surgery was 208. Never saw onederland either, but on my way!. Saw 257 in Jan 09 and fell off my chair!
I completed the couch 25k on 6/26/09 and lost 25 lbs. Now at 232. Like you I am working my way back. Looking forward to reaching my goal weight of 175.
I like running (Thanks Lee!) so I am still keeping it up. Ran for 35 minutes this morning. Walking nonstop at work today because we are playing musical chairs. Will walk all over Walmart this evening to do our monthly grocery shopping and will run on the playground with the kids at church for at least 20 minutes before heading home.
Hang in there! We can do this!
If I am gonna eat like a fat girl, then I gotta workout
like a skinny girl!

But goodness, I cant help but wonder how could this happen ?
You had two surgeries, been thru two honeymoons.....havent even had any real time between the two surgeries or the two honeymoons and you are still close to where you started before you ever got cut ?
Whats really going on ??? You dont have to tell me or even tell anybody on this board for that matter.....but YOU owe it to yourself to get to the root of the issues or else nothing you do will work and have lasting results.
Accountability is one thing...taking complete whole health invested responsiblity in yourself and your actions are another.
Oprah said it best last week, its not what your eating...its whats eating you !!!!

In life, and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
Treena, I read this post and your first post about 90 Days of Accountability and I tried my best not to type anything BUT I feel I must because I truly care about your well being.
I cant see your pictures from work, so what I am saying has nothing to do with your pictures but your typed words.
I think your biggest problem is that you are not being true to yourself and I believe until such time, you are setting yourself up for failure and you seem to be the "all or nothing" type of person.
You said "I plan to lose 20 pounds in a month, that is exactly 60 pounds by October 1, 2009"
Were you able to lose 20 pounds a month after either of your surgery? This is the time when most lose the most weight. Being that you are no longer in your honeymoon phase (I am wondering if you ever really gave yourself a honeymoon phase or where you comparing yourself to others and believing that you were failing when indeed you were not). Do you honest believe that you will able to lose 20 pounds a month and how will you deal with it if you don't. You have not given yourself any working room, even though a body lose weight different month by month.
Wouldn't it be more reasonable to make your goal what most doctor make for the average person of 2 pounds a week, this is not saying that you cant achieve more, it just mean that you exceed your goal, but I am afraid that 1 October 2009, when you are short of your goal, you wont say "I must continue", you will say "oh well" and go back to doing the same thing for the next 6 months to a year and then fast forward to that time, 100 pounds later.
How are you planning on losing the 60 pounds in 3 months? Is it something that you will be able to continue for the rest of your life. I know you know that this is a life style, so I am just reminding you of this fact. I read your words but did not find a plan within those words.
I think you need to set a plan on what you will do differently this time than what you were doing.
If your exercise is/were on key such as you stated (please know I am not doubting your words) this just mean to me that your eating was double messed up because exercise will balance out your eating, meaning if you are eating badly, but exercising regularly , you wont gain yet you wont lose. Is your plan to get back to the WLS basic?
Anybody who truly know me will know that my words are not meant to be mean, however after a while we need to stop rubbing folks back saying " AWWW you fell down, you can get back up" and say as I am saying to you today.....words are great but show me your action plan.
