I like the mail man at work. Should I ask him if he is married?
There are ways of saying things without literally saying them.
Men catch on to clues real quick I find.... guess they always giving them too.
Hope he tell's you something pleasing to your ear.
In life, and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up. 
Can't hurt to ask. You'll kick yourself if you find out he was available when its too late.
