Keep me lifted tomorrow (please!)

Hey y'all!

Went to my surgeon today for yet another follow-up from surgery in April...thought I was doing 'o.k.' - but apparently not.  The incision from the surgery has not completely closed (I actually asked the surgeon's associate about this each time I visited...he told me not to worry)...well, the surgeon saw it today and told me point blank that the incision should have healed long before now.  He told me there was either a stitch that is still inside the wound, or that I have an infection (which he really doesn't believe to be the problem).  Nevertheless, I have to undergo a surgical procedure tomorrow afternoon to have the wound cleaned out and cultured.  Depending on the outcome, I will either come home with a drain (what!?) or the wound will be re-sutured - I'm home for at least a week!

Pray for me...I HATE PAIN...I HATE PAIN...I HATE PAIN!!!

Oh...and one more thing...here is a pic of me with my "new" old BF (a/k/a my sons' dad) who hopes to 'reconnect' after all these years!  We took this last weekend...he sure is trying his best/damndest to come back home!

Hey Donna.  I still say you two look great together.  When will you two be seeing each other again?  I love a good love story...

Now is this surgery related to your foot surgery a few months ago?  Hopefully all goes well!

Hey Michelle...he probably won't be back here before Labor Day...We were actually planning for me to go to NC for a weekend, but since I now have to have surgery...that isn't looking good.

Oh well...

And yes, this surgery is related to the ankle surgery...the incision has not healed/closed...they are ruling out an infection inside the ankle or that there are sutures remaining inside, which is causing the incision to not heal properly.

Donna I will lift you up in prayer,Girl you and your HB look good,it aint' like you dont' know this man and yes maybe he has changed for the better,married to mine forty some years and girl since we both are retired I am learning stuff I didnot know ,but its all good so go for it.You better stay out of them heels for awhile.

Hey Marilyn - thanks, love.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to wear heels...was resigned to not wearing them til next summer...hopefully by fall...we'll see!
