Movin and Losin.....What's Up?

Yesterday, I walked about 3 miles and rode my bike 2 miles.  Hell, I gotta start somewhere.

Today I am walking again and riding my bike if the weather holds up.  If not, then me and the elliptical will have our fight today.

What are you doin to get the blood pumpin and to lose the pounds?

Well instead of catching the bus from the parking garage to the office. I walked like 2 blocks not that far but it's a start. I'm planning on pulling out the treadmill today. It's been sitting in  a room collecting dust so time to get it going and myself. I'm in Houston so it's to gotda** hot to go outside. We had record temptures yesterday in the 100's . So gonna start treading it for now.

I see I am not the only one up 4:30 in the morning!

Completed week 9 day 2 of couch25K this morning.

Did a bunch of yardwork last evening and plan to do some more this evening.


If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Hey Treena,

I walked 3.5 miles on Monday and 2.5 miles last night.  I think today will be a rest day.

BTW, walking 3 miles and riding your bike for 2 is an excellent place to start!

Hi Treena,

I try to walk 2-3 miles at least 4-5 days per week.  I only walked 1.5 miles yesterday. So, today I will have to make up for lost ground.

Hi Treena More walking to and from bus routes and walking up and down stairs at my job.  At least 12 5 times a day which varies.  Most Important today to lose is getting in my water.

I rode my bike early this morning for about thirty minutes.  This evening I will do the ellipitical or walk.  I am actually enjoying working out in the morning and evening.

90 min aerobics, check! Stretching, check! Done for today.

Later its two different strength training routines.  I have to make up for one I missed yesterday.  I refuse to have any skipped sessions.
