I am able to eat meat starting Saturday and wonder how people did with lean ground beef. I was thinking of making me some meatballs...yummy

My vote is for ground Turkey, much less fat & easier for me to digest.

Ground turkey or ground chicken! It's low in fat and high in protein. I measure minds out using a scale. I make my turkey balls 8oz each. Add a little protein powder in the mix too!

What type of protein powder do you use that is good to mix in food?

I buy the unflavored brand from Whole Food market. It runs about $15 for a 64 oz canister. It has no taste so I mix it in soups, spaghetti, veggie chilli's pretty much anything.

I would agree with everyone else, if you get the really lean ground beef it is very difficult to digest.
