RANT - Lose Weight for Ya Dayum Self!

Before making the decision to lose weight my hubby use to tell me ain't nobody want a bone but a dog. Now that I am 100+ pounds lighter I tell him start barking. LOL

I actually saw her on Oprah's show a couple of weeks ago and I think that she did it for herself as well.  Her husband's concern about her health, in my opinion, was legitimate.  If he loves his wife and feels that (in his mind) she may be sick as a result of her obesity, I don't think that it is wrong for him to say what he said to her.  I do believe she lost weight for herself and not her husband - I believe his words were actually a wake up call for her.  After all...let's remember - he STILL married her in her larger state...I just don't believe that she lost the weight "for him" but rather for her own health and prolonging of her life...and to reduce her risks.
