Lap Band Questions

I am going through the cycle to get my surgery date i have had a sleep study done and have seen the dietician do i have to see the Pulmonologist before the surgery date or after i recieve the surgery date

I had to have all required pre-op testing done prior to insurance approval and receiving a date. 

Once it was done however, the approval came very quickly.  Best of luck to you on this journey!

It really depends on your medical history and what your doctors requests before doing the surgery.

Every person is different and so will the pre-operative exams be different.

I was required to get a EKG and stress test before I got my date.  MY doctor was extremely thorough about checking all of me out because I was soooo heavy.

I would check with your doctor and see if thats on your list of things to do.

for the encouraging words this is one helluva race i am so flustered with all of this i am ready to have the surgery and get this hot mess off me i am so depressed with it i want to enjoy some of the summer on the looser's bench in a couple sizes smaller.

I remember that feeling of wanting it soooooo bad. Its good to jot just  how you are feeling down right now so you dont forget.  That will keep you invested in this journey and steadily working toward your goals.
