Off by a little or a lot..wow moment
I had not retook my license picture because it expires next year and just didn't want to dal with the hassle of going down there on a Saturday to simply retake thte picture it didn't matter that much to me. However from the summer until a couple of weeks ago i always got double takes when I had to show my photo ID. A couple people would make mention and say things like you've lost weight or I can still see thats you by your smile or eyes...and one person wasn't going to cash my damn check!
I was in OH on business before Easter and lost my damn license somewhere between arrival and departure from OH. I got on the plane and figured this was forcing me to get a new pic. I kinda felt like this was the last "proof" I had of this person I used to be. I finally went today to get my licensecompleted the paperwork and changed my weight info; provided my documentation;and took my pic.
The guy told me to review the info to ensure it was correct I glanced and my eyes focused on a "2" and how about the weight stll said 260 (I think that was a lie when i wrote it) I said yeah the weight is wrong. He says by a little or a lot? I said ummmmm how about 100 lbs. He looked
at the number and
looked at the picture and my then politely sent me back down to get it changed. The lady was nice and said yeah I would have DEFINITLEY came back for that change. Congratulations!
