Morning, BAF!!

Hey y'all...haven't been on here much...but just wanted to thank you for your notes and checking on a sistah!

I'm almost 2 weeks out from surgery...supposed to have the stitches removed tomorrow...but I'll tell you this - the pain I experienced was like none other!!! OMG...hatchets and saws...that's how bad it felt - like someone had taken a hatchet and cut my foot off at the ankle!  I cried everytime I had to get up out the bed...going to the bathroom (right next to my room)...was a huge undertaking...but, I just called on the Name of Jesus...(Jesus...Jesus...Jesus!!!)

Today, the pain is subsiding...I can see the light at the end of this tunnel...however, I learned last week that I may have to be off work for at least 4-6 weeks! Say what? Are you kidding? uh...ok, yeah, right!

And here's the joke (on me)...I am FEENING shoe shopping! LOL!  In a soft cast on my ankle...and want sooo bad to head to someone's big ol' shoe department and shop!  Idol minds...devil's playground...devil..get on away from hur...this swing and sliding board is CLOSED to you! (Humpf!)

glad to hear you are on the road to recovery - KEEP on sitting your FAST tail down!!!!  Don't you dare mess up your recovery tryna to drop it, pop it or anything else!!!  LOL

Hey Trina! Girl, I cannot afford to do anything but sit my arse down...besides, I have a little 'getaway' planned for my birthday in late June...and I need to be able to put on a pair of golf shoes...and swing a club!! (I am SOO looking forward to this trip...to the Gulf Coast...)

In the meantime, I am being obedient...LOL!
