That's too bad that you don't have insurance.  It must be frustrating.  Maybe you should find yourself a sugar daddy

Call me cynical, but I think the sole reason why the OP was here to promote her MLM supplements.

She deactivated, so I guess we'll never know.

And I was so nice too.

Always love these vets who turn up to either brag about how great they look, to offer their help (once every couple of years), or to sell their overpriced supplements!

I'll take advice from the old timers who are here every day for years any day!

Fantastic response. You beat me to it.

How can someone push a plant based diet with "no supplementation," yet rely on Juice Plus and concentrated food capsules? Hello?

Crazy marketing troll.

Nice to see someone back after all this time to advise us all how to do it right

Some of us have stuck around for the long haul and while I am thrilled that you "know" how healthy you are, without blood tests, I don't think it's a good idea for anyone to follow your example.

There are lots of vets on here that offer advice and help on a daily basis.  It's always good to have another join the ranks

I am replying to this post, not because it is ridiculous, but because it could be dangerous.  People who have been through the surgery know the dangers of skipping vitamins - but for anyone new to WLS - ignore what this person is saying.

Here is the latest LONG-TERM study - looking at patients 10 to 13 years post WLS.

Nutritional deficiencies were seen in 87% of these patients.

Yes - almost 9 out of every 10 patients had labs that had something out of wack!!!  And these were patients that could still be reached after 10 years, so arguably, these are the patients who were most compliant.

The authors are from Depts of Surgery at NYU and Univ of Pennsylvania.
