Minor Updates to OH - Thanks for your feedback

 In the next few hours, you'll notice some minor updates as we launch some changes to ObesityHelp.  Based on the member feedback we've received, below are some of the changes you'll see:

1.  To improve the flow and navigation of our site, we've streamlined the navigation bar and added new tabs for the more popular features such as Health Tracker and Photos.    

2.  The "Bookmark" section is the least utilized area in the current header navigation.  To make site navigation more relevant and useful to members, we have removed the Bookmarking system.  If you are interested in being able to download your bookmarks, please send us an email at [email protected] by August 31, 2012.

3.  To increase member experience while using our site, Meebo will no longer be available.

Thanks to you, our members, for letting us know what you think, what you like, don't like and we listened to you by making these updates.  As you've noticed, we've been creating surveys for future changes, features and improvements.  Please join us in these surveys so we hear your voice!  Watch the Main message board, DS, Lap-Band, RNY and Sleeve message boards   for posts with links to upcoming surveys.  

Management and staff appreciate you as members of ObesityHelp.

The black navigation bar prevents the use of the blue bar drop down menus.  You can
t get the cursor to cross the black bar with out losing the drop downs....
   Also,  bookmarking posts was a great way to create reference sources.  I hope there will be some way of marking and retrieving posts in future revisions.

Hi, thanks for notifying. It's been fixed now. :) Take a look and let us know if there are any other issues.

I noticed that the dropdowns-within-dropdowns for selecting the surgery date forums is not working still, so we're looking into a better way of doing those.

For now, you can access the surgery dates forums from using the Breadcrumb above. The Breadcrumb is the the part right above here where it says "Forums >> Weight Loss Surgery Forums >> Message Board >> Minor Updates to OH...".

So float your mouse over "Forums" from the Breadcrumb to pull up a dropdown menu where you can access all the surg dates forums. Cheers!

While you're improving things, how about making the copy and paste function less of a dinosaur?

the dark nav bar is overlaying the lighter blue drop downs preventing its use..........

Unless I missed it, there was no warning!  A little warning would've been nice!!!

And YES, bring back the Bookmark feature!

Ugh I know many of us that used the bookmark feature.

I used the bookmark section all of the time, please return it!!

Count me in to the many requests and BRING BACK THE BOOKMARK!
