I was thrilled and honored to be part of Bully Breed Rescue of CT's "Pitties-N-Ink" fundraiser last night. For an $80 donation, I got a glorious piece of artwork that will be with me forever, and I got to help dogs in need at the same time.

Pits get such a horrible and undeserved rap (****ty owners and breeders deserve the bad rap), and I dedicate this ink to my two 2011 fosters: Xena, who touched a nerve and Jif, who touched my heart.

Amen about who needs the bad rap for some dogs who get them.  *rants to self about things ranty*

All the Pibbles (that's how you say it here in the south :} ) I have ever known have been big ol nasty babies. Like the rotties I have known.  Lap beasts.  :}  Maybe have a bit of same sex aggression, but you can find that in any breed, even the muttiest of them all.

I love your pibble's big ol smile and ready to kiss your face and clean your ears tongue :}

 The only "danger" I ever faced with a pittie was when I was leg-raped by an unneutered boy and even then it was more hilarious than anything else!

 So sweet! I adore my Pit, she is my two year olds best friend, they are inseparable. I don't think I would ever get another breed of dog.

I live in a duplex and my neighbors have a pit bull and 5 chihuahuas.  I am more afraid of one of her chis then I am the pit bull.  He is a big baby. You should be more afraid of my girl chihuahua then him.

I have a pit/boxer mix - Bette you can see my blond baby on my Facebook She is such a sweetheart and so good with my Mischa. I'll never own another kind of dog!
