I don't really know how you are supposed to act at my age, I asked my bf the other day if he thought I dressed appropriately for my age.  He said you know you don't.  I laughed and said I don't know what you mean, he said you know why you get those nasty stares from other womyn its because of how you dress/hair/makeup.  His brothers girlfriend is much younger and lives in yoga pants he told me she hates me too, I said why, he said because girls like her always hate girls like you.  I am sure thats probably an insult but I am gonna take it as a compliment, because for 20 years I wanted to be the girl other girls hated, now I arrived too damn late of course, but hey, kick it while you can.

Hell yes. Do what makes you happy. When I lost my weight, I had to redefine my fashion sense. It was weird to be able to wear what I wnated versus what I could find that fit me. My 17 year old always things I dress too young, but I love it. You do your thing and enjoy every minute of it!

I have a 22 year old son and he has never noticed if I changed my hair/clothes/makeup but he did notice I lost weight, he was mad when I got down to the same weight as him even though he is 5 inches taller.  I tried on his baggy jeans once just for fun and they slid down my waist and clung to my hips and ass.  Apparently momma's got back.  lol  He is 5'10 and 140lbs and re-joined the gym again yesterday to get back into "shape".  He won't lift weights or try to bulk up he just likes to do cardio and loves to run.  Honestly I don't think he is my real child.  He doesn't even eat dessert.  WTF?

LOL, unfortunately my 17 year old is all me. He is about 6'2 and 300 pounds and I have to nicely remind him all the time to slow down on the food. Unfortunately he lives with him mom and I don't think she watches what he eats at all.

That's so hard, lucky for me my son took after his father who was  thin until her reached 40 and then gained about 20lbs.  I obsessively made food a not big deal thing when my son was little trying to spare him the ravages of MO, and I don't think anything I did really mattered as his genetics ruled.  Perhaps the only thing I accomplished is to make him be is super weight focused and always trying to actively lose weight when he is already too thin, either that or he just likes to torture his mother by saying it.  lol

My sons friend is 6'3 and was 300lbs at right around puberty and finally when he entered high school he got a job and started walking to work everyday, lost some weigh which inspired him to really start working out and now he is 21 and trying to meet the fitness requirements for the military, he only has about 15 more lbs to lose to be at 200.  He's a completely different person, it changed everything about him to lose weight.  I was sooooo happy to see him looking so happy.  I wish you son good luck and hope he finds his motivation.
