I may not have always been on the same page as Kate, but I liked her, and appreciated that she was a  genuinely helpful person here. I miss her, and some others too.

I certainly don't blame her though, I feel the same and post less because it's not worth the hassle they make it.

I have been away from OH for a couple of years and I was shocked at how quiet it is now. Now I understand why. I hope things go back to the way they were.

I am refraining from posting on  OH  because of the new terms of service where OH  states that by posting anything here I  give them ownership and they have the right to publish my words ,photos and identity  wherever they want .

I did not come here wishing to compromise my identity or to have to worry about my surgery being publicized for anyones gain without my permission.

I came to OH  wanting to recieve and give help and support .  If OH refuses to consider its members in other terms than as commodities to be freely bought and sold,I'd be a fool to give them that right by staying a member .

Like many others ,I mostly lurk here now .  A bunch of lurkers and noone willing to stick their neck out and post means boring boards .

I wonder what would happen if we all put a copyright at the end of every post?

Hi B!

Our Kate from Britain? MY Kate?! I have been trying to read back as far as I can. Obviously there are missing chunks of history-because it's still hard to make sense of what happened here.

I have also stayed far away for lots of reasons. I really got so much out of OH and I don't know how I would have made it through those early days and years with out the support, compassion, information and FUN that once was OH.

Over time it just became a place to stay away from. All the junk going on was too distracting.

I HOPE there is HOPE for OH. I would love to see some life be breathed back in. I am going to hang out for a bit and see what's what.

I hope you are well and thanks for the updates in your post.

Peace,
T

Welcome back!

It is a changed culture here on the Main Board in terms of the junk being gone, thank heavens!

I wish I had known the old days of OH, and I would love to see them rebuilt.

I learn so much from vets like you- please stick around!
