Message from ObesityHelp Management and Staff

In an effort to make ObesityHelp better for all of our members, we have had to remove certain individuals that were counter-productive to our mission to provide a supportive environment for all. There have been unfortunate incidents of personal attacks, allegations and discussions within threads that have not been reflective of what ObesityHelp is about.  We believe that you, our members, will experience the difference on our message boards.

We have reorganized our Member Services Department, in the process of updating our Terms of Service and implemented new protocols to improve the ObesityHelp community.  We’ve listed below a few of the specific changes within our Member Services Department:


• Management was changed on November 1, 2011.

• Member Services staff was reorganized.

• We’ve created new internal policies and procedures that include the implementation of no 

   tolerance for “cyber bullying/cyber harassment" behavior.

• We are updating our Terms of Service with an attorney that specializes in online communities.


It is the purpose of ObesityHelp that you have the opportunity to obtain support and education along with the exchange of information in our community.   At ObesityHelp, you have a place where your voice can be heard but it will be shared among many voices and opinions of other members. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to post within our Terms of Service
