CARNIE WILSON CALLED ME

The phone rang at 1:30am, and she said, "This is Carnie and Daniel..."   Uh-oh.   I'm going to post a YouTube video later about our conversation.   Lesson-learned:  "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."  Amen.

She was cool....gotta give her credit.  More details later, but I had to dish!

uh oh!  You know I watched the first show and set up DVR to record others but it hasn't.  How many have I missed?

She called you at 1:30 a.m.? what I nerve... I hope you told her what you think about that.  Looking forward to see your youtube about that.... no matter how cool she was - calling someone at 1:30am - that is a bit ... rude...

i wanna hear more!!!  I have been watching the show, think there has been 3 episodes that have aired.

So who are you (not being rude just don't understand) that she called you? I wanted to watch her show just to see what it was about but have no idea what channel that it was on, couldn't find it on my cable guide.....

It's on Game Show Network (GSN) and I believe it is on Thursdays nights.

Oh my gosh I can't wait to hear about this.  I have yet to see Carnie's show, but I did watch your YouTube commentary on it (and a lot others of your vids - Love your story, Taunia)!!!

OK, I know why she called and that's because of the video you made taking up for Carnie. Sweet Suzy knew after checking Taunia's links!   Carnie could have called me at 4am and it would have been just fine with me!  I believe there is a 3 hour time difference between Taunia and Carnie so that would explain a lot.

I don't know why so many are so unkind about her regain.  I know many women that have had WLS that have regained more than Carnie but because she did it so publicly, she is held more ac****able.  I feel compassion for her and she has been quite open with her cross addictions and even after a regain, she comes back fighting again.  Regardless of what's happened with her, I owe her my life because it was because of her surgery that I had miine.  Carnie's experience saved my life.

Another thing we seem to have difficulty with in our community is being happy for other's successes or the good things that happen in other's lives.  So far 307 views and only a few have actually responded and that's ok because some are lurkers but I would like to say to Taunia congrats!  Congrats on getting some well deserved attention for fighting for what you believe in.  Like you say....lesson learned...."if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all".  Regardless of what you think of Carnie, it's way cool she called Taunia and I'd like to say that I hope you enjoyed every minute and perhaps sharing what she said will help many others see that she is a human being with feelings and with imperfections like the rest of us.

  I am very curious to hear about what Carnie had to say to Taunia - and really to be quite honest, I don't feel  Taunia was mean in what she said...(I must check out this show and see what it's all about)...so, thank goodness it doesn't sound as if Carnie was MEAN to Taunia.   I am very fascinated byt his.
