WI Badger Care Plus with United Health HMO....APPROVED!

Hey everyone!

I got the news today that I am APPROVED for RNY procedure.

I am jumping up and down with joy!

This was the first time they submitted and I was approved...Still can't believe it! Rumor had it that my insurance was hard to get approved by, but not for me! YAY!

I will be having surgery this month sometime, will find out Monday or Tuesday when my surgery date is!

Just thought I would share my good news!

Thanks! The waiting is what sucked, but I was approved in 7 days. It was submitted on 10/30/09 and was approved on 11/6/09!

Hello Nicci,

Nice to meet you!  I live over by the Fairgrounds.  So what surgery did you go with and how have you done with it?  I am afraid of the gastric bypass because of the mortality rate!  But I think it is the one I will go with.  I am mainly concerned with keeping the weight off.
