For all the new people - I wish she can post that at least once a day.

This is their future they're risking. Is this refusal to "do the right thing" fueled by low self esteem? I don't get it.

What also frustrates me are the Lap Banders who don't bother to have their labs drawn on a regular basis. While our surgery does not result in malabsorption, it is virtually impossible to get all required vitamins and nutrients through diet EVEN WHEN YOU HAVEN'T HAD WLS.
After my first year, we're required to get them drawn annually. My labs had always been great, until about 9 months after surgery, I went through an awful stressful period in my life, and I barely ate anything at all. My labs were awful and I became anemic. It only took a few months and proper eating, but I corrected the problem, we're now only monitoring my Vit D.
"I am ____ years out and ______ could this be from not taking my vitamins/not enough?"
We have new people being surgically altered every day... everyone needs to know this stuff.
It's frustrating as hell, yes.
This particular post was spurred by girl I know in real life --- she's having surgery this month with her husband --- she has NO idea what vites to take ---- what to do post op. !!!
Okay, I'm out. Be nice while I can't respond, please. ;)
