Posting just to be posting.....

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Super Sunday! It's a beautiful, cool day today and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet while Christian is napping.  

What are ya'll doing today?  Anything special for Sunday lunch? 

We had grilled boneless skinless chicken breast, blackeye peas, creamed potatoes and green beans.  IT was good and yesterday I made a strawberry bundt cake  with a fudge topping drizzled on top.  I ate a small slice and dumped, so no more for me.  It tasted fabulous and the rest of the family really enjoyed it.

Just relaxing, enjoying the day and doing Laundry! So of course, I will be ironing this evening again! LOL

It is a sunny but cool day here too. A friend did call a while ago and want to go out to dinner so after I finish laundry, I think we will have an early dinner and then I can come home and iron while I watch TV.

You lunch sounds good to me...the blackeye peas and creamed potates are so yummy---along with some of my mom's homemade cornbread and I would be set!

I had lunch with Momma Carmen and her family after church at Fire Mountain. It was okay, but the company was better.
I am off to Winter Jam with our Youth Group. I know it will be packed. But I can't wait!!!

Hi everyone.

We are having friends over to smoked brisket, garlic mashed potates, veggie fried rice (by request), fresh veggies and what ever everyone else is bringing.  16 yo daughter is making a pumpkin no bake pie.

We now have a house full of kids, laughter and merriment.
