My 2 cents worth......

It seems to me, year after year, that things become MORE COMPLICATED with our annual Oak Mountain reunion......I don't understand what the problem is.  We all get together and always have a great time....so.....why do some people always have to cause trouble, stir up strife and just try to mess the whole thing up?  We ALL love this reunion.  Let it go on and let's all have a good time.  Don't let the DEVIL   have his day and ruin this SPECIAL day for all of us.  I personally don't care WHO does the darned thing.....let's just go and have FUN!  Geez, people.......let it go!!!

I love, love, love seeing everyone!
I love the reunion!
I just hate that this year we won't be attending.
We close on the house March 27th, so we will either move the weekend before or the weekend of the reunion.
Y'all are just going to have to have fun without us!

Things are getting very complicated on this site.  You don't know what you can post any longer.  You can hurt people, but you cannot post about a support event.  Oh My...this is totally crazy.    I could understand if they were trying to raise money or charge, but it is a free event to support and fellowship with people who have things in common with all of us.  People can come on this board and bash us like crazy, but support is deleted????  Something seems to be terribly wrong with this picture.

I too love this event Loretta and will be there with bells on.  Also, whomever brings this together has a full load.  This is not an easy task to prepare everything and make sure things are done prior to this.  I appreciate anyone who VOLUNTEERS to take on that task.

I totally agree with you Carmen.  I don't understand this site any longer either.  Ya know what???  I spend more time on FACEBOOK than I do here anymore.  It's just not right, what they are doing to us.  VERY VERY SAD.  I think the powers that be have lost all sense to the real concept of this site and what it originally was started for and stands for.  I feel the devil has really got his CLAWS into something around here.  We've just got to stand PROUD of our roots and hold it all together.  We have to be here for each other.  We ALL share a common bond.  WEIGHTLOSS!!!!!  No matter if we do or don't like someone or how someone lives or what they do or don't do.......WE STILL ALL HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON!  We don't all have to like each other or what someone does or doesn't do or believe in for that matter, but we should SUPPORT each other no matter what.  THAT'S WHAT OBESITY HELP STARTED OUT TO BE ALL ABOUT!

You won't see it.  It was all done behind the scenes, just like the cruise.  It's so unfair.

All the melodrama is always "behind the scenes", where it NEEDS to stay.

Thank God. But still doesn't make it fair to all of the hard work people put in to us having these get togethers and meet and greets.  I think it's SAD that it's come down to this.

This is the reason I don't post much anymore. Too much garbage getting in the way of what true support is.

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.
