The Irony of it all

As I was typing my previous post, I couldn't understand why I was so compelled to share a story that could possibly bring out the negative people that sometimes visit us. "Was I up to the persecution?" I kept asking myself.

Now I know why I might have possibly be compelled to share...because I need ya'lls prayers! I was fine when I wrote my last post. Then I had to go sit for the past 4 hours in a metal box with no room to walk in.

Ya'll probably don't know it, but I've been plagued with terrible back pain since June. It comes and goes, but I've hard a hard time in the past month.

This morning about 530 all I wanted to do was scream. I was hurting everywhere! The pain was radiating from my low back all the way down into my calves and I couldn't get any relief.

I have just come home and taken some pain medicine and just got off the phone with the chiropractor. They're working me in tonight. Please keep me in your prayers. And I need some sleep before I drive the hour to his office and it's taking all I can do right now to sit and type this. I'm going to go walking now till the meds kick in...it's all that helps.

Gisela, I am praying that God ease that pain and that you have comfort and are able to rest.  I know that He is more than able to heal whatever is wrong with your back and I am believing He will.  Please let us hear from you later.

I certain understand pain. Walking is a good way to keep your mind off the pain.

Good morning Beautiful.  Gisela as I read your posts I felt the presence of the Lord.  When we follow Him sometimes the devil acts up trying to destroy our blessing.  In fact the devil tried to keep me from responding to your posts by freezing my computer.  However, I prayed over the computer, rebuked the devil, and started over.  I prayed for you so I am expecting you to be asleep right now due to the other prayer warriors already praying.  The devil had to give you pain in your back because YOU expressed praise to the Lord. 

I have heard great things about this book and I want to read it.  A book club would be awsome.  Recently, I have read several Christian novels so I was really inspired by your posts this morning.

Gisela, I have watched you grow through the years into a beautiful butterfly, I love butterflies.  When we first met you were shy but now you have spread your wings.  You are an inspiration to me.  Don't ever stop giving God the praise.  He is always there, just a prayer away.
