Update on me......

I had to go to the Hematologist today for a routine follow up.  Should have been back 4 months ago but with life........I just forgot.  They called me and asked that I come in for the follow up visit.  He, Dr. Gapulora, rechecked my blood work.  Several things were low including my iron and vitamin D.  Both are extremely low.  My iron was so low he wanted to give me IV iron before I left.  It was so fast my head spun.  I knew I had "PEACE" but I was nervous.  It took 3 hours.  I saw cancer patients in the infusion room with me and my heart went out to them.  But for the grace of God!  I prayed for them.  Debbie Doo, I love you girl and I admire you!!  I also got a new respect for nurses.  My wife, as a cancer nurse, has to have a HUGE heart!  I love Lucy so much.  She IS one special person.  After getting the iron, I got a little sick, but I am ok.  He wants me to have a colonoscopy in 2 weeks if my blood count and iron are low again.  I believe God that EVERYTHING is going to be fine.  He contributes all of it to lack of good nutrition.  WHAT?  I have gained 18 pounds thanks to Lyrica!  I hate to tell him, but my protein shakes WILL up and my water will up cause I am going to lose this 18 pounds again.  Maybe it just isn't the "RIGHT" nutrition.  I contribute the low iron, anemia, to 17 surgeries!!  God IS faithful!!!

I love you all and I thank you for praying for Lucy and I.  We are so happy in Guntersville, so happy in this house, and SO HAPPY TOGETHER.

Say a prayer for Allison please.  She was sick last night throwing up so she didn't start to school today.  I was up with her from 3:00 this morning and I haven't been back to bed.  She feels better and will start her new school in the a.m.

YOU ARE SPECIAL TO THE CULPEPPERS!!

Thank you Carmen and Glenn!!!

I hope you get to feeling better. I'm glad you posted what was wrong with you. Some people seem to think I cooked for you and it made everybody sick. See, they have my number. But this time it wasn't my fault. You did not eat my cooking yesterday. Take care I love you all. Love, Aunt Mary

Glad you are feeling better! I used to work in an Onclogy/Hemotology practice in KY. Both nurses there were very special people, as were all the patients. I enjoyed that job, except for the bosses...LOL. Another story in itself!!

Take care...Guntersville is a beautiful little town! I know you will like it there...I just love the water!! Where is Lucy going to be working???

Hey there my friend!!!!  I know and believe exactly what I said and prayed earlier.  God is FAITHFUL and He is doing a work.  Although I don't understand how He works, I do know that His works are perfect and everything He does in our lives works in the most perfect ways.  I am praying that all tests are good and that all reports are good.  We are gonna stomp on the enemy and Praise God for raising you up.  I love you!!!!

Praying for you that your tests results come back better next time around and that your colonoscopy is uneventful.  I have ulcerative oolitis and am supposed to get one every two years, but am waaaay overdue.  Just can't stand the prep in the days preceeding...so good luck with that.  It's worse than the procedure itself.

Healing prayers also for Allison.  Starting a new school can be intimidating enough.  I pray that she makes some good friends at her new school.

Glad to hear you are settling in nicely.  There's nothing like a fresh start.  (though I don't envy anyone moving...the process can be exhausting).

Take care of yourself!  You have people who love and depend on you.

Sandi
